Jacó is a beautiful, energetic beach town that’s located within 1.5 hours of Costa Rica’s capital and is known for its carefree beach town feel. Airport code is SJO.

My favorites are Bahia Encantada. Great condo on beach with swim up bar and pool. Right beside Crocs Resort.
Also close to all bars and restaurants is Vista Las Palmas. High tower condo on beach.
Tamirindo is a great surf town which is closer to the Liberia International Airport which is Airport code LIR. About 45 minutes car ride from airport to Tamirindo.
Recommendation by far is https://www.tamarindodiria.com/ great resort right in the middle of the town. Also multiple Airbnbs as well.
